How the Boys of Silicon Valley Make Their Millions, Battle Foreign Competition and Still Can't Get a Date

Commentary:

It is a witty, often scurrilous and a glorious description illustrating how and why businesses and managers, like the rest of us, just haven't got it sorted. I've included this as an antidote those in the public sector who mistakenly believe businesses have got things sorted. They haven't. Cringley is the InfoWorld gossip columnist, so a wry insider who gives a hugely readable, witty, often scurrilous - and probably accurate - story of technical and strategic achievements of the 'visionaries' (yes, yes, clueless, nerdy, unwashed boys, working through the long, dark nights) of this industry through its infant and toddler stages. Predictions for its adolescence and possible maturity, too.
